So I’ve taken a hiatus from the blog to focus on work at Cobalt (which is pretty kick-ass) and as anyone who writes a blog knows, it can be a pain to write regularly.  A ton of stuff has been going on since my last post and I will write about it all soon, but for now I need to do some site housekeeping and transfer everything over to Wordpress to make things easier.  I could pretend like I have time to do a redesign but I don’t.  Dreamweaver is not really working right now, so I may have to find someone to help me do this without getting the Wordpress blank screen of death.

Just know that I’m alive and well and I will start posting again if for no other reason than to keep people from teasing me about not updating the blog. Oh and here are some awesome upcoming events in the Seattle area:

This time I got rid of the blank screen of death in only 2 hours! w00t! I think everything is back to normal, and I’ve tried installed/uninstalling plugins to make things run better. Maybe next time I upgrade Wordpress I will only have 1 hour of blank screen of death! At least its not running on the entire site, so I should be thankful for that.

So I decided to cave in and finally start a blog using Wordpress within my site.  The goal is to write about different things I’m dealing with at work and other web/database-related things.  With the occasional happenings from my life tossed in. I spent half my time altering the CSS on this theme and unsuccessfully upgrading to the newest version.  It seems I was not the only one who encountered the White Screen of Death.  Either way, I’m sticking with this for now. We’ll see if anyone reads besides me though.
